Child living next door had severe asthma Frequent school absences, emergency room visits Parents had trouble maintaining a job due to frequent

hospital visits Couldn’t go to park, beach, etc, because frequently had

to be plugged into a breathing machine Since Master Plating closed

No emergency room visits Switched to normal asthma medication Behavioral problems from prior intense medication

have evaporated

Community Demands for Future Development

Relocate small industrial toxics sources No buildings over three stories More community services: Library, mail,

pharmacy, sports and education, etc. No housing development next to
