MANDJAR ART AWARDS ENTRY FORM 2018

ENTRY CONDITIONSEntrIESThe Mandjar Art Awards are open to all Western Australian artists.All entries will be entered into the Corporate Award and Highly Commended Corporate Award. To be eligible for the Regional Award and the Highly Commended Regional Award the artist must reside within the City of Mandurah or the Shires of Murray, Serpentine-Jarrahdale, Boddington or Waroona. Please indicate your eligibility by ticking the box on the entry formartworkThe artworks must be two-dimensional and not greater in size than 1.4m x 1.2m portrait or landscape including framing and must not exceed a maximum weight of 26kg. Multiple panels will be accepted where these constitute a single artwork and do not exceed the specified dimension in total. One entry per person.The artwork must have been completed within the last twelve months and must be presented with appropriate fixings. Please refer to the Hanging Instruction Guide on our website (www.manpac.com.au) under the Art Gallery heading. Sale price of artwork must include a commission of 25%.Entrants are to allow reproduction of their artwork for publicity and promotional purposes.SUbmISSIon DEtaIlSThe artist must submit a completed and signed Entry Form accompanied by a non-refundable Entry fee of $30.Payment may be made by cash, credit card, money order or cheque (made payable to Mandurah Performing Arts Inc.). Fees are non-refundable and cover administration and handling.Entry Forms must be received by 4pm on Monday 12 February 2018.No late entries will be accepted.DElIVEry oF artworkSArtworks are to be delivered to the Alcoa Mandurah Art Gallery between 10am and 4pm on Monday 26 February 2018.artwork to bE EXHIbItEDAll works entered for the Awards are subject to pre-selection prior to exhibiting. The Mandurah Performing Arts Centre will advise entrants whose work has not been selected for exhibit on Thursday 1 March 2018.Please note that work will be displayed at the curator’s discretion.JUDGInGThe decision of the judges is final and no correspondence will be entered into. The winners will be announced at the Awards Presentation at 7pm on Saturday 3 March 2018. All exhibited artworks will be considered for the People’s Choice Award.InSUrancEThe insurance of artworks will be the sole responsibility of the artists. We will exercise all reasonable care, however the Mandurah Performing Arts Centre will not be liable for any damage or loss to artwork.collEctIon oF workSArtworks are to be collected from the Alcoa Mandurah Art Gallery on Tuesday 3 April 2018 between 10am and 4pm. All artworks not collected during this period will incur a late collection fee of $10.
