Exodus 20:18-21

When the people saw the thunder and lightning and heard the trumpet and saw the mountain in smoke, they trembled with fear. They stayed at a distance and said to Moses, “Speak to us yourself and we will listen. But do not have God speak to us or we will die.” Moses said to the people, “Do not be afraid. God has come to test you, so that the fear of God will be with you to keep you from sinning.” The people remained at a distance, while Moses approached the thick darkness where God was.

Exodus 20:18-21

Do we want to be DISTANT from God or do we want an INTIMACY with God? Our decision makes a huge difference…it is the difference between being outside the Meeting Tent or being in it?

Do we say thank you Lord, that was a nice worship service today or do we say thank you Lord for your presence and for showing me Your glory?

Entering The Holy Place The house of God – Church - has become a dysfunctional household. Because we aren’t asking: WHERE IS DAD?

Why are we trying to do church without DAD? Why aren’t climbing up on His lap? Why aren’t we crying on His shoulder? Why aren’t we desperate for His advise? Why aren’t we trusting in His provisions? Why aren’t we yielding to His discipline? Why aren’t we in the embrace of His love? Why don’t we hold Him in revere?
