Art

What is art ?

I think that you can´t put boundaries on art. You can´t say that some art isn’t art, like you see

just an ordinary chair you can´t say that isn´t art because it is a design that someone did. So

you can say that everything that humans make or do can be art.

The first things you think about when you hear the word art, is music, artwork and theater.

These three things have always existed. You don´t even think about how much you use it.

You listen to music in your car, you turn on your tv to watch your favorite movie or tv-show and

every picture you see is an artwork. But think about if those three things never existed, you

never had listended to music never seen a movie or a tv-show and never seen a picture. It ´s

even harder to think about it. Okay you wont die if you never see or hear art, but it would´nt be

as fun living life without it.

How I see artists, is that everyone of them are talented and have imagination, but some

have more imagination than talent or have more talent than imagination. Like, if you take the

art that “everybody can do” like De Stijl ,which is an art movement using only vertical and

horizontal lines, and primary colors along with black and white, that is more imagination than

talent. Yes everybody can do that but it is still beautiful. Just like what Monet could do or even

Michelangelo.

If you want to pursue art as a carrier, there are so many ways to go. You can be a singer, a

dancer, a actor, a painter. But you need to have real talent for each of them plus it´s really

hard to get famous or even noticed doing them so in every artform you have to work hard to

get noticed. And who nows maybe you will be one of the legends that we have idolized for

hundreds of years.

Museums Turn Technology to boost attendance by millennials

There is a new app that will make your museum trip more convenient. When you stand in

front of an artwork the app knows where you are and gives you the information about that

artwork including audio talks, videos and reviews. This year many museums will install a

new form of Bluetooth technology known as beacons so people that download the

smartphone app can be tracked within a few feet as they wander the galleries. Boston

Athenaeum will begin using beacons in time for a show on the Marquis de Lafayette in

June.

Acting What is acting

Acting is defined by the dictionary as the art or profession of performing the role of a

character in a play, movie and etc. Which is all correct, acting is a form of art, made by

people and played by people. To be an actor you must be skilled in some things that are

important in acting such as improvisation, vocal projection, clarity of speech and the

ability to interpret drama. All this can be taught in drama schools all around the world.

But actually many known actors like Jim Carrey, Brad Pitt and Meg Ryan are not

professionally taught actors.

Now what an actor does is he takes on a character and communicates that character

through speech, body language and movement to an audience. This can be done on

stage, in a movie or a television show, also through voice acting and so on. Being an

actor can be an extremely hard job since it often follows long times of unemployment.

Possible career options for acting are Theatre acting, Movie acting, Television acting,

voice acting, commercial acting, Teaching and ect.

I like acting because it gives you a chance to let yourself go and take on the role of

someone or something else. Acting is just such a great way to tell a story. Actors are

often shy but when they are up on stage or in front of the camera the shyness just goes

away, they become someone else. This is why acting is often suitable for shy people.

You can get people from all over the world, get them together and let them watch a

movie and they can all connect. The language barriers hardly matter if it’s a truly good

movie with good acting.
