Beginner’s GuitarLearn the basics of finger picking and strumming around a range of simple chords, whilst playing popular songs in a group. The Music Department provides the guitars and tuition in a fun ensemble where many different strategies are used to teach you. The group is led by guitar teacher, Matt Lomas, who helps to prepare the group for performances which are optional to take part in.

Comedy Improvisation-Young Creatives

Improvisation games and skills. Create characters, scenes and sketches. Develop ideas and harness imagination. Build confidence and self belief.

In these workshops, we'll explore improvisation games, learn how to structure a joke and devise comedy sketches. On the final day, everyone will perform in a jaw dropping live comedy show for their peers. Come explore your funny side as we explore the art of improvisation, sketch and character comedy. We encourage you to express yourselves freely, which will increase your confidence and make you feel liberated.

Aside from the fun, laughter and friendships, you will develop practical life skills, such as public speaking, performance skills, creative thinking and, not least of all, self belief.

Cone Art (Henna Art and Art of Cake Decoration)

Using a henna cone create henna art and progress towards using piping cone to decorate small cakes.
