Advanced Dog TrainingIf you are familiar with AKC Techniques, and your dog knows basic obedience exercises, then this next level class is for you. Enjoy an advanced class that teaches a development of mutual trust and respect. We will focus on the AKC Canine Good Citizenship Program and an optional exam will be scheduled for the last day of class. Your dog can earn an AKC CGC Title!

Puppy distinction, you’ll be able to get info on all of your puppy raising questions including housetraining, chewing, and the most effective way to teach practical skills such as coming when called.

Puppy PlaygroupHelp socialize your puppy and get started on basic training in fun and positive ways. Horseback Riding: Learn To RideHorsemanship is both an art and a science. Madonna Bynum will introduce you to the skills needed to become a confident and safe rider and handler of horses. You will be riding in all 4 classes.

Trail Ride: See Florida By HorseExplore natural North Florida from the back of a horse. Visit Devil’s Den Springs, Cedar Lakes Reserve and Botanical Gardens. The ride leaves Two Hawk Hammock in Williston and passes through Cedar Lakes Reserve. After the ride, you are invited to see Devil’s Den Spring and meet all the creatures that make their home on Two Hawk Hammock Farms.

Dance DanceBallroom Basics For CouplesLearn 3 classic dances - Fox Trot, Waltz, and East Coast Swing. You can enjoy dancing on a cruise, parties, at your wedding or a friend’s. Learn basic patterns, lead/follow, and timing in each dance in a stress free environment.

General Information

Onsite RegistrationCall 352-395-5193 the day before, or day of 1st class to see if space is available. Classes without sufficient enrollment will be cancelled. Fees must be paid at registration by cash, check (made out to SF), money order, MasterCard, Visa, Discover or American Express. Cash CAN NOT be accepted at on-site registration for Community Education.

You may drop a class and receive a full refund by calling the Community Education office DURING THE FIRST TWO WEEKS OF THE COMMUNITY EDUCATION TERM for any class 2 weeks or longer in length. For classes shorter than two weeks in length, regardless of the week of the term, you must drop the class at least 2 business days before the class begins to receive a refund.

After the first two weeks of the Community Education term, and once a course is in progress, you must fill out a petition for refund. Refunds are not automatic, and a legitimate reason must be stated. After the FIRST THREE WEEKS OF THE COMMUNITY EDUCATION TERM, only partial refunds will be granted upon approval. Full refunds will NOT be granted except in special cases.

Outdoor adventure classes require additional lead drop time. You may drop an outdoor class/trip, but you must petition for a refund. The petition will go before a review committee, and if approved, you will receive a partial refund.

NO PETITIONS WILL BE RECEIVED OR REFUNDS PROCESSED once the last day of the term has passed. Call 352-395-5193, Monday—Friday, 8am—4:30pm, if you wish to drop within the appropriate drop time.

You will receive a refund check in the mail in approximately 3—4 weeks. Your credit card account will NOT be credited for the amount.

NOTE: Online classes have varying drop dates for refunds. Check online courses for details.

Community Education reserves the right to cancel classes based on low enrollment or other causes. The student will be notified in advance, and a full refund will be provided. Refunds will not be credited to your credit card; instead, you will receive a refund check in the mail within 3—4 weeks.

Enrollment in Community Education classes is open to everyone regardless of race, creed, color, sex, age, handicap, or marital status. Some classes may not be suitable for children. You do not have to be a student of Santa Fe to take Community Education classes.
