ENiTo Coconut Palm Wood Decking with Tanatone has been impregnated with eco-friendly Tanalith E preservatives with built-in brown colourant using vacuum pressure technology to improve the longevity and performance of your decking. Vacuum pressure treatment is used extensively for timbers installed both in and above ground contact applications where there is a medium to high risk of decay, fungal or insect attack. Tanalith E is a waterborne wood preservative that bonds with the woods structure through hydraulic high pressure under vacuum and it cannot be easily removed from the timber ensuring long lasting protection for your ENiTo Decking.

Application of deck oil with UV protectant and water repellent is strongly advise for decking that are constantly exposed to rain, moisture and sun. Regular care and maintenance is highly recommended to preserve the aesthetic and longevity of your decking and to protect it against all weathering elements.

Do not apply deck oils when it’s expected to rain in the next couple of days or if the wood is wet. This will prevent the moisture from getting trapped inside that will cause your decking to rot. Select oils that penetrate deep inside the wood to give it a long lasting defence.

For maintenance, make sure that your decking is clean at all times. Decking with stubborn stains can be removed using deck cleaning solutions or high-pressure water. Light sanding is another alternative to get rid of some rough spots, splinters or minor damages on the board.
