Romeo and Juliet Exercise

1. The story of Romeo and Juliet is synonymous with a teen tragedy over emotions of love and hate. It is commonly known that the central characters make the decision to commit suicide because they believe they cannot live without each other. Yet whilst they die as a result of poor decision making, it can be argued that key events and the actions of minor characters in the play contributed significantly to their catastrophic downfall. of these external challenges, triggers and influences arguing that Romeo and Juliet were not solely to blame for their tragic end.

2. Romeo and Juliet is a story about two contrasting themes of love and hate. From the outset of the play, it is known that hatred will result in double suicide. Accordingly, there is much discussion over reasons why this tragedy occurred. This essay explores some of challenges, triggers and influences that contributed to the demise of Romeo and Juliet. It suggests that key events and actions of minor characters played significant role in the adverse outcome.

3. Romeo and Juliet is a love story written by William Shakespeare. William wrote this story because he wanted people to think about the consequences of feuding and hatred. It wasn’t really Juliet and Romeo’s fault they had to suicide. There were some other problems and one of the biggest difficulties was that Tybalt was so aggressive. And the friar shouldn’t have really married them either. Also William wrote this play at a time when many people in society had duels and so this play was really a message and that is why it was popular the that time.

1. I thought that the best introduction by far was A. Unlike the others, it had no grammatical errors, and it flowed very nicely. It also had more sophisticated language.

Shakespeare as William, and not Shakespeare. Use of personal pronouns, especially in D. D uses colloquial language throughout the entire paragraph as well.

4. Rewriting D: William Shakespeare penned Romeo and Juliet as a way of reminding people that true love leads to poor decisions. This essay will go over the reasons found in the book, to prove that Romeo and Juliet’s tragic demise wasn’t of their own doing. There were other circumstances which led to the star crossed lovers’ fate, such as minor characters perhaps doing questionably things without

thinking. Shakespeare also wrote about events which set into motion the death of the young couple.
