Subject Numbers To find your library resources look for
our logo on any college PC or laptop
desktop and select ‘Library Catalogue’
All the academic books in our libraries are arranged in Dewey number order.
This means that, to make resources easier to find, every subject is given a
number between 000 and 999.
For example Management is 658 so if you can find 658 on a
spine label then the book will relate to that topic,
such as Financial Management, which is 658.15.
The spine label also includes the first three letters of the author’s
surname.
You can borrow up to 8 items at a time.
You are not charged late fines but we will chase up any overdue items.
Please make the most of your libraries but also be respectful of other library users by not
eating in the libraries and keeping noise to a minimum.
