This interactive, 60-hour program helps you develop confidence and sophistication in the use of English when dealing with various situations in the work place and interacting with native and non native speakers.
During the program you will be exposed to authentic language through case studies, and you will take part in simulations, role-plays and conversations.
• Emphasis is put on verbal communication and cross cultural issues. • You will have no homework. All activities are performed in class.
The program is taught in small groups of up to 13 people. You need to already have an intermediate command of the English language (Lower level) to be able to participate. So far more than 700 professionals have successfully completed the program.

The Instructor
Michael Robbs holds a BA in Interdisciplinary Human Studies from University of Bradford, UK, and an MA in Teaching English as a Foreign Language from St. Michael’s College, USA. Mr Robbs is also a teacher trainer. He has been teaching English for business purposes, as well as communication courses, on site, on line, and in-house, at the Hellenic American Union for the past 16 years. He has won international awards for excellence in teaching. His long experience, direct teaching approach, creativity and devotion to the success of his students can guarantee an effective and pleasant learning experience.

Certify your Business English level with TOEIC®
The Test of English for International Communication
(TOEIC®) is a multiple-choice examination designed
to measure how well you can communicate in
English in a social or workplace situation. The test is administered on a
weekly basis, while you receive your results 5 days after the test date and your
Certificate a day later. The TOEIC® test has been recognized and accredited
by the Supreme Council for Civil Personnel Selection (ASEP). Please call

More than 2500 hours of specialized Business English programs have been designed in consultation with employers and have been delivered in-house on their premises. individual registrationYou can register in person, online or via email:
registering in person The Registrar’s Office is open daily, Monday through Friday, 9:00-20:00. You need to complete and sign a registration form, and pay the tuition fees. You can pay in cash or by cash or credit card.
• cash/cash card. You will need to pay at least € 300 upon registration and pay the remainder by Nov 28, 2016 (you will be asked to sign a bind-ing Tuition Payment Agreement for that).
• credit card. The full fee will be charged to your credit card and 3-5 interest-free installments will be arranged if your credit card is eligible.
email registration: You can enroll by e-mailing ([email protected]) a complete and signed registration form and a copy of a bank deposit/transfer of at least €300. You can locate the HAU bank accounts on the registration form. Please note that you are responsible for any bank charges incurred in the transfer or deposit. You will then receive the Tuition Payment Agreement, which you will have to complete, sign and e-mail back to us. Only then is your registration complete. You will need to pay the remainder according to the Agreement, either in cash at the Registrar’s Office, or by a second deposit to the HAU bank accounts (in such a case you will have to e-mail the copy of the transaction to [email protected]). You will receive your receipt on the first day of the program.

well as invoice details) and a copy of the full tuition fee deposit in one of
the HAU bank accounts, which you will find on the registration form. Please
note the following: The registration form needs to be signed by the employer,
or the manager responsible for corporate training in order to complete
registration. The employer is responsible for any bank charges associated
with the deposit of tuition fees. Employers who enroll 3 or more employees
in the program gain a 10% total discount. A LAEK subsidy is available; if
you wish to take advantage of it, please tick the appropriate box of the
registration form and we will send you the information you need.
