Day 1 Depart USA for England. Day 2 Upon your arrival in Manchester, if driving yourself you will be met by a SGH Golf representative, who will assist you with your luggage and present you with your travel guide, before showing you to your waiting rental car. If you are being escorted you will be met by your SGH Golf tour manager driver, who will assist you with your luggage and show you to your waiting motor coach. You will then transfer to the Vincent Hotel in Southport.

Drive time from Manchester to Southport is approx 34 minutes. Overnight at the Vincent Hotel Day 3 Today after breakfast golf will be arranged at the Royal Lytham & St. Anne’s.

This is one of the great seaside championship links of the British Isles, and one of the seven where the British Open is held regularly. A true links course, with fast running fairways, ground gathering towards strategically placed bunkers, and no end of trouble for the wayward shot. The club is rich in history, dating back to its foundation in 1886 and there is a charming air of timeless respectability.

Situated on Lord Street, Southport's Parisienne Boulevard, the Vincent takes comfort and personal service to new heights - all within a fresh, stylish and contemporary interior. Cool, contemporary and stylish, the Vincent brings a new twist to hospitality in the region. After golf you will be transferring to Sandwich and the Bell Hotel.

Birkdale's fairways are flat but they form valleys between mighty sand dunes, providing a sturdy frame to a landscape embellished by a profusion of tenacious buckthorn and willow scrub. In the last 30 years, no club has hosted more major events, a clear mark of recognition, particularly among the professionals, that its lack of the eccentricities of some other seaside links is more to their liking.

The great Hoylake is seldom a question of love at first sight. As is the case with so many championship links courses, it is not physically attractive and rarely endears itself to the average golfer. However, it is without question a very grand links, and a life-long bond of respect and admiration soon begins to establish itself.

The Bell itself has stood on its present site since the early 17th century, although an earlier Bell Inn was certainly in existence in Sandwich from the 14th century and reputedly hosted Queen Elizabeth I with a glass of sack. Although no longer host to monarchs The Bell is still renowned for its warm hospitality and stylish accommodation. The Bell offers guests the opportunity to relax in traditional comfort with all the benefits of modern facilities to hand. This small hotel prides itself on providing the personal service and professional care which ensure that every stay is a memorable occasion. The individually furnished bedrooms are attractive and spacious. All have ensuite facilities and views of the River Stour or the ancient streets and rooftops of Sandwich.




Day 6 Today after breakfast golf will be arranged on the Royal Cinque Ports.

Drive time from Sandwich to Royal Cinque Ports is approx 12 minutes. Overnight at the Bell Hotel Day 7 Today after breakfast golf will be arranged at Royal St. George’s.

Drive time from Sandwich to Royal St. George is approx 5 minutes. Overnight at the Bell Hotel Day 8 Today you will depart London for the USA. Drive time from Sandwich to London is approx 1 hour and 48 minutes.

This is a famous championship seaside links, windy but with easy walking. The outward nine is generally considered the easier. The inward nine is longer and includes the renowned 16th, perhaps the most difficult hole. On a fine day there are wonderful views across the Channel.

This course is the truest links you will find in all England and the Royal & Ancient, in its wisdom, chose this as one of The Open venues, knowing it will find the pedigree player at the end of a week. Close to the sea, overlooking Pegwell Bay, any kind of wind can make this man-size test even tougher. The sweeping rough at the 1 st can be daunting, so can the bunkers and the huge sand hills. But there are classic shots here.

At the golf courses, he will handle your golf equipment check you in and assembles the caddies you have requested while also arranging a second round if desired. The knowledgeable Tour Managers are indispensable when providing daily sightseeing guidance for golfers and non golfers whether it be touring a distillery, castle, or shopping excursions. He will also be an asset when recommending and making dinner reservations at local restaurants. The Tour Manager will provide the small touches along with local knowledge and experience that turn a “good” golf tour into a “GREAT” golf tour.

You may wish to consider the selective use of private aircraft or helicopter transportation to visit golf courses not otherwise easily accessible, or simply to eliminate longer road journeys.
