1. Who is Ambidetector Eng. & Inst. Ltd?

AMBIDETECTOR - Engineering & Instrumentation, Ltd. Is an

innovative and ISO quality assured company in the area of

instrumentation, calibration, automation, maintenance, repair and

supply founded with the belief that customers deserve a permanent

reliable source of advanced services with high performance according

to their needs.

With headquarters in Setubal City near the shipyard of Lisnave,

Portugal, the AMBIDETECTOR – Engineering & Instrumentation,

Ltd., is nowadays supported by technicians and engineers with

expertise and background in the areas of electronics, mechanics,

instrumentation, control, automation and environmental engineering

with more than 20 years of experience.

automation engineering as well as industrial control and

instrumentation through the area of maintenance, calibration and

installation of electronic equipments for control. We are, and we

AMBIDETECTOR – Eng. & Instr. Ltd. provides services in a wide

range of field namely marine (Oil Tankers, LPG, Chemical

Tankers, LNG, Crude Tankers, Containers) and in gas stations,,

We have a team of environmental, instrumentation and electronics

engineers ready to mobilize at short notice with our Mobile lab to carry

all service onboard of the vessel available 24 hours per day.

. Supply, Installation & Commissioning Services

We are specialized to supply equipments in the electronic field used for

control, measurement, prevention and preservation of environmental and

for safety quality, ensuring compliance with the current quality standards

and legislation. We guarantee the installing and commissioning.

. Project Management

We can provide suitable manpower for managing and following the

systems installed based on the customers needs and equipments supplied

through annually maintenance contracts with many advantages to the

AMBIDETECTOR works with some of the most well known brands

on the international market for gas detectors namely RIKEN KEIKI,

RKI, TOKA SEIKI, GMI, CROWCON, RECOM and MIRICO besides the

bigger OWS manufacturer, the FELLOW KOGYO & for ODME the

RIVERTRACE ENGINEERING (RTE), SERES & JOWA. We work with

GASCAN to supply Gas Handling Equipment, Gas cylinders &

KITAGAWA gas detection tube system.

We work also with LIFELOC for Alcoholmeters supply and

calibration.

We do calibration and supply for MMC, UTI, TKT TANKTECH.

Besides that we are able to supply a broad range of spare parts and

equipments in the instrumentation and automation field through

our good network of suppliers around the world. We are also looking

to act as local agents and distributors for other well respected

names in the instrumentation and automation business.
