Movie presentation: The Pink Panther.

Hello class, I'm going to tell you today some more about the second Pink Phanter movie.In fact it's already the 12th Pink Phanter movie, but it’s the second with Steve martin as leading actor.

Now I going to tell you a little piece of the story:Three major burglaries, the theft of the the Pink Panther diamond, The Shroud of Turin, the Pope's ring and …, shake up Governments of Britain, Italy and Japan, prompting authorities to set up an international 'dream team' to solve these crimes allegedly committed by the Tornado. France, too, gets involved after the theft of the Pink Panther diamond and assigns Inspector Jacques Clouseau, his assistant Gilbert Ponton, and Secretary, Nicole, to this case. Although Chief Inspector Dreyfus who would much prefer seeing Clouseau issuing traffic tickets. The team, consisting of detectives from Britain, Japan, and Italy, and a Spanish author, Sonia Solandres, travel to Italy where 'Tornado' reportedly resides. This is where they will face their worst nightmare.

The director was Harold zwart. He is born on the first of July in 1965. He lives in the Netherlands. He has 2 children. Other movies of him are: the mortal Instruments, the karate kid and agent cody banks.

The main characters of the movie are: Steve Martin as Inspector Jacques Clouseau, Jean Reno as Ponton, Emily Mortimer as Nicole, Andia Garcia as Vincenzo, Alfred Molina as Pepperidge, Yuki Matsuzaki as Kenji and Johnny Hallyday as the tornado.

They filmed from August 20, 2007 to November 2, 2007. They filmed this movie in Paris, Rome and Boston The film costs seventy million dollars. The film released on the 18 th of February 2009. The production company was Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer (MGM).

I agree with this review because I found this movie rather funny and I agree with the opinion that a lot of people have expected more from this movie. I’m also a big fan of the old Pink panther movies with Peter seller in the leading role.

Did you now that The Boston area doubled for Paris in some scenes. Steve Martin decided to have his Inspector Clouseau character marry Nicole at the end of the movie because he claimed that all of his movies that ended with weddings became commercially successful. In this movie spoke everybody with a strong French accent. The opening titles of the film double as an animated short featuring the famous animated counterparts of Inspector Clouseau and the Pink Panther.
