The DGSA

• Launched in 2009 & reviewed in 2010

• Based around 8 skills identified by the CBI as key employability skills

• Applications accepted from 2nd Semester of 3rd year

• Increasing numbers of applicants

• Increasing interest from academics

The Application Process

• Attend Information Session

• Record skills development

• Attend a Pre-application Briefing Session

• Attend Peer Assessment Session

Activity

You should have 4 question and answer sheets from 2 separate Skills Award applications (an original and a resubmission, for 2 questions).

Working in small groups and using the assessment criteria provided, please assess each question to establish which is the original and which is the resubmission – giving the reasons for your decision.

Be prepared to share your group findings.
