My teacher has a very smart brain,His tricks are always done in the

rowdy rain.He slipped and fell, As loud as a bell.

He got eaten by a very large crane.

Noise creators,Mind eaters,

Attention seekers,Tantrum throwers,

Curious caterpillars,Mess makers,

Loving creatures...

A dog is a broom,

Loves to zoom to his room.

Zoomy, the dog has a best friend,

Her name is Mend.

Mend was always nice,

Zoomy and Mend always played with dice,

Eager to eat food from their bowl,

With delicious things in front of a hole.

Inside the hole lived a rat,

Who proudly wore his red hat.

The rat had a mother,

He also had a brother.

The dogs live in a house,

Which also has a mouse.

They are very good mates,

And have full plates.

I woke up this morning to see,My rabbit saying bye to me.

I got so freaked out,I had to shout.

My parents got scared,They got prepared.To call the police,And live in peace.

My name is Khushi and I study in UNIS. I love writing poems. My inspiration is things I love. Some of my poems are about animals and one is about sports. Poems help express my emotions about different things and what I think. I have been inspired by reading poems and I have always loved reading books. This was one of my favourite units. I loved using my imagination and creativity to make poems.

My inspiration led me to making these five poems. I learnt a lot of things in this unit. I learned different poetic terms and different types of poems. I have never written poems before so it was a great experience.
