Fields of Application
EnergiCapt objective is to address boiler units from 20 MWth up to150 MWth.As an example, the system can be installed on the following sectors:
Urban heating network
Agriculture
Food & Beverage industry
Chemical & petrochemical industries
Mining industry
The goal of EnergiCapt is to reach a TRL 9 project scale, showing an innovative and robust concept to reduce CO2 emission by using a membrane contactor system, avoiding loss of electrical power during, with an easy installation on existing CO2 emission systems.

Future applications & developments
Higher Capacity boilers:
The modular design allows to expand the concept to higher boiler unit capacities (number of modules can be increased depending of the capacity)
Adaptation to different types of flue gases:
To Coal, syngas …
CO2 integration in the supply chain:
Separated CO2 to enter in the CO2 supply chain
Component of the power-to-gas chain:
The CO2 to enter in the methanation process to bring value to electricity surpluses
Oil & Gas EOR:
Can be customized to separate CO2 from other gases such as methane and to use the CO2 for reinjection into a well
Oil & Gas FLNG:
EnergiCapt compactness can address the issues of the size of the amine towers used for CO2 removal on FLNG. These towers expose the vessel to structural issues due to the size of the towers combined with the amine liquid and the vessel movements.
Oil & Gas Offshore:
The modular design and the compactness of EnergiCapt can allow marinization for Offshore applications
