Introduction
EndNote provides two ways to find full-text：
“Find Fulltext”: You can select SEVERAL PAPERS together to find
fulltext.
“OpenURL Link”: You can select ONLY ONE PAPER at one time.
If you are not in the NCKU IP address range(140.116.*.*), you
need to set up SSL VPN or Off-campus Access (Proxy) for
using electronic resource.
By our test, you can get better search result of “Find Fulltext”
when you are in the NCKU IP address range(140.116.*.*)

How to set up and use
Find Full Text & OpenURL Link?
Setting Step1
EndNote → Edit → Preferences
Setting Step 2 Click Find Fulltext
Check all of 4 item
Fill in OpenURL Path http://sfx.lib.ncku.edu.tw:3410/sfxlcl41
Click「確定」(OK)
How to use Find Fulltext? Select the references you want to find fulltext.
(Press Ctrl or Shift button on the keyboard to select several items)
Click right button of your mouse (Pull-down menu)→ Find Full Text → Find Full Text…
Select “Find Full Text… “→ Pop up a window “EndNote Find Full Text copyright and usage notice” → Click “OK”
Find Fulltext Results At the left-bottom corner of EndNote window, you can see immediate
status.
If I cannot find fulltext via the above-
mentioned way, what can I do?
Go ahead! Try “OpenURL Link”!
How to use OpenURL Link?
Select ONE reference you want to find fulltext
Click right button of your mouse (Pull-down menu) → URL→ OpenURL Link
You will get one or many databases provides fulltext
→ Click “Go”
If you get none of
database here, it
means NCKU Library
don’t purchase the
paper you want.
If you are not in the NCKU IP address range(140.116.*.*),
You need to enter the username and password of NCKU account.
Finally, You will link to the paper you want, or homepage of this
journal. You can download the fulltext manually.
