Endangered Blue Whales

Introduction

• Blue Whales Are an Endangered species along with albatrosses, penguins, and turtles.

• So There are only a few hundred left in the world!

• If you have seen a beached whale or seen the “beach’d as” cartoons (or some other reason) you will now how they get there and if not read on…

Beached Whales

• Whales are very smart and have very unique ways of doing things like using their voices to call to each other. But sometimes they don’t know which way is land or sea. So they end up on beaches, but some whales are lucky because they can get washed back out to sea or people can push them back out (luckily).
