Integrated Network Management SolutionsWith our carrier grade integrated network management solution, our clients business can quickly and easily monitor their network and proactively ensure systems and service availability to their customers, employees and partners.

Our Integrated Network Management solution is available in various configurations and optional plug-ins, with a view to offer our clients the choice of “Grow as the Network Grows”.

The key philosophy here is that the client can choose a plain configuration which offers real-time monitoring to start with, and progressively upgrade to a full-featured, standards compliant telecommunication Operations Support System (OSS). Our solution delivers a robust, carrier-grade and highly available management system for a wide range of network devices and systems.

Network Management SystemsFor clients that do not have a Network Management System and require a cost effective solution, we can also provide SNMP-based Network Management-/Element Management Systems (NMS/EMS). Scientis provides NMS/EMS that offers a scalable multi-user management system which includes remote clients, trend reporting, standby server options and a Northbound Interface for integration into third party systems.

Network Management Systems enhancementsWe also design and develop performance, configuration, inventory or fault reporting system tailored into existing NMS system to identify and detect deteriorating equipment pro-actively and provide feedback to the operator. In addition , solutions such as synchronization scripts, bulk- firmware upgrade tools, trap converter and configuration scripts are a few of the many solutions that we can offer to our clients.

> Solutions for Remote Site Equipment Scientis Solutions Limited designs and develops vendor agnostic mediation devices, enabling cost-efficient visibility of network elements of various SNMP equipment types and enabling operators to pro-actively manage these elements. We have an extensive portfolio covering wireless as well as wireline solutions, including auxiliary products, thus positioning us to meet the different needs and requirements of our clients. Our solutions provide remote connectivity to the Network Operating Centre(s), which includes automated alarm delivery, Email and paging forwarding as well as fault, configuration, performance and inventory management as well as extensive health-check functionality.

Our solution covers various equipment and vendor types, which include microwave radio links, multiplexers, switch and energy management equipment. We are continuously evolving and developing our solution based upon our clients demand and changing requirements.

Wireline SolutionsOur wireline solution portfolio supports various equipment interface types, starting from dial-up (PSTN) and xDSL to ‘always-connected’ E1(nx64K)/Ethernet routers/bridges for transport of SNMP management signals, and conversion to/from these interface types. We especially address areas where multiple remote elements need to share a common PSTN or E1/ Ethernet bearer. Unique product features allow our solution to co-exist with existing carrier-class equipment and to be integrated with existing NMS/OSS platforms. In addition to E1, we also support T1 interfaces. DTE interfaces are available with V.35, V.36, EIA530, RS449, RS232, X.21, RS422 ports. In addition, Scientis Solutions wireline portfolio also includes Fiber Optic Multiplexers enabling TDM over GbE via 16 x E1 interfaces, together with dedicated Ethernet/GE interfaces & 800Mbps total throughput.

Wireless SolutionsWe provide a comprehensive wireless solutions portfolio, covering connect on demand GSM (CSD) and ‘always-on’ GPRS/EDGE and HSDPA solutions, which not only reduce operational expenditure by eliminating expensive leased line connectivity, but also provides a solution where no leased lines or other NMS DCN transport medium is available . The solution also facilitates configuration, provisioning and commissioning of remote equipment, along with providing instant visibility of faults and events occurring on the remote sites back at the central NOC location(s).

Auxiliaries An extension to our wireless and wireline solutions, we provide a broad range of auxiliaries, which include passive component products to interconnect various vendor interface types as well as providing measuring tools. We do not compromise on quality and we have a comprehensive range of robust solutions, and we are continuously developing new passive component product solutions in accordance with our client’s requests.
