End Of Year Break Up Shoot And Presenta�on

It was a perfect day out, sunny and dry but not too hot. The turnout were great, the day started with 72 arrows reverse robin hood rounds followed by lovely lunch and award presenta�on. Special thanks to Sue Mar�n who �relessly organise the shoot, Dean Pe�man for the target faces, Emma Fe�ke for the wonderful spread, all the volunteers who helped setup for the day and everyone else for turning up and made it a wonderful day out. Defini�on of a Club Champion The Club Champion is decided on the results of the Annual Club Target Championships, which is an Open event only, for all bow type, male and female, irrespec�ve of an archer’s normal age division. Field, Indoor, Clout - Club Championship events –- archers compete in their respec�ve age divisions.

Archer’s Diary

Adelaide Archery Club will now use Archers Diary for all club shoots, commencing this Thursday. Members wishing to shoot need to Access Archers Diary the day prior to the scheduled day that they wish to shoot to register. Below is a screen shot of what you will see when you register on Archers Diary.

Once you have filled in the personal details and the flight eg Grange that you wish to shoot select ADD ARCHER When you get to the club on the day you will put your name on the allocation board as usual. One of your group needs to use a device to score. You must decide who will do the scoring and use just the one device for each target. A designated archer will still have to do a paper score. The code for the club shoot irrespective of Flight ie Grange will be the same for that days shoot. Use this to access for scoring purposes. For Example: Thursday 5th of January Code for accessing scoring will be 0501 ie 5th day of the 1st month. On behalf of the Shooting Committee I request that you give this a try as it will make it much easier should you wish to enter tournaments where electronic scoring is mandatory. As TD I will endeavour to enter the scheduled events on a monthly basis. You will note that I have not entered 20 and 30 metre distances shoots, but that would not preclude you participating, just ask.
