The Training If you avoid others or avoid dealing with the conflicts between you and the outside world, it prevents you from coming closer to yourself and others. The Encounter training is the most thrilling way possible of liberat-ing yourself so that you can finally relax, be who you are and realize what you want from life.

The aim of this three-year training is to become authentic and to get closer to each other. The main ingredients are honesty and a willingness to open your heart. The result is that you start sharing yourself and caring for others. It means dropping your fear of the other and exposing yourself as you are.

During the training you will experience many different methods of Encounter.

You will find your personal power, see and respect your vulnerabilities, appreciate your inner beauty and also come to terms with the inner darkness which you haven’t previ-ously acknowledged. You will also see these aspects in everyone around you and

appreciate that underneath we are all the same - we are all looking for love.

The Encounter Training teaches you how to expose your true feelings, express your needs, clear away your masks and finally to respect each other’s position and unique-ness. Gradually you drop your emotional games and emerge as an authentic being. You can be the warrior, the Buddha, the lover, and…the master of your own life!

LeaderPremdipFrench, Humaniversity Executive Director and Director of the Humaniversity College of Communal Living. She has been leading the Humaniversity Encounter Training since its beginning and has been trained by Veeresh in group dynamics, encounter and clinical work. She has over 30 years of experience in working with people in a therapeutic communal setting. Premdip is also a student of various oriental arts including Feng Shui and Tai Chi.

The Training StructureEach year consists of:• six weekend workshops• a five-day intensive workshop led by Veeresh - the AUM Marathon

• four Tutorial Days, where you learn theoretical background and deepen your studies• one Vision Day with the trainers and other trainees, for eva luating your individual progress in the training and setting goals and vision for the period to come

The Training THE FIRST YEAR: Basic Skills in Relating and Self-ExpressionThrough the first year you will experience various techniques of Humaniversity Encounter, different ways of exposing your-

self, of finding and stating your truth and of developing understanding and acceptance towards yourself and others.

THE SECOND YEAR:Caretaker TrainingDuring this year you will learn to take care of the other workshop participants, while par-ticipating in it yourself. You will also under-stand the deeper meaning of what you have been doing.

THE THIRD YEAR:Staff TrainingIn the last year of the training you will par-ticipate in the groups learning to see and feel the participants, understanding what they might need in the group process, and contributing with your ideas. You will assist the workshop as part of the group staff, teaching from your own experience.

Osho Humaniversity is an international center for personal growth, therapy, spirituality, profes-sional development, and the training of therapi-sts. It was founded in 1978 by Veeresh D. Yuson-Sánchez, and is based in Egmond aan Zee, on the North Sea coast in the Netherlands.

The philosophical aim of the Osho Humaniversity is ‘Working with People for a Better World’; a goal which the institute teaches by providing

extensive and intensive experiential education – the combination of emotional awareness and wisdom, and objective, practical information. This takes place in a dynamic communal living environment with a high level of social interaction.
