I’m look for all graduating seniors whether it be from high school or college. I will need to know the following information: Name of student, parents, siblings, street, high school or college they are graduating from, what they will be doing after graduating from high school or college, any accomplishments they had while in high school or college and what they plan to major in if they know. If you would like to add a personnel message you may also include it in your submission. This will run in the July issue of the newsletter. As of right now, I have one seniors information. I hate to leave anyone out at this wonderful time in their life. Please note that if you have a child that is graduating from elementary or junior high, I will list them, but it will be in the Heard and Overheard. Also, if you have a special senior citizen living in your home or the community, we would like to applaud them as well because they are always special in our heart. Please send this information to me as soon as possible. Flag Day Don’t forget, June 14th is Flay Day. Fly your flag proudly!!!! Upcoming events: July 4th Parade: July 4th!!!!! Get ready! Heard and Overheard Yard of the Month June’s yard of the month is awarded to 14611 Enchanted Valley Drive. The home of Janet Walden and Tom Waldrep. This family has lived in E. V. for 18 years, and are thrilled to receive yard of the month for the first time! Their home has been undergoing a makeover with new siding, paint, and new landscaping. The entry to this home is very inviting. Once you pass through the front gate, you find a beautiful court yard with lots of color that leads to the front door. Janet credits son Justin who worked at a local nursery for giving her advice on keeping her flowers beautiful. The new flowers and shrubs are very eye catching. Janet does all the picking out of flowers and planting. Tom and Janet share in watering and have gone to all natural fertilizers in their beds. Their yard man, Lucio Ramos, does the mowing and edging. Congratulation to Janet and Tom for their hard work! I was happy to present them a $25.00 gift certificate from Buds and Blossoms for a job well done. Yard of the Month
