TRADITIONAL CRAFTSMANSHIP is waiting for YOU! The construction of fences ranks among the oldest rural cultural techniques. Wendelin Neuner is one of only a hand-ful of people left in Tyrol who are still proficient in the craft of creating fences without the use of iron nails or screws.

After a tour of the village of Mösern you have the chance to learn the traditional technique of natural fence-making and weave a piece of fence yourself in Wendelin’s ‘open-air workshop’.

Take advantage of the unique opportunity to join a tour of the Toni Seelos ski jump – from the out-run to the jump-off plat-form to the jumpers’ starting bar at the very top. Be amazed at just how steep the in-run is and take in the stunning views of Seefeld, the location of the 2019 FIS Nordic World Ski Champi-onships. At the end of the tour you have the chance to try your hand at biathlon shooting. Go on – give it a go!(Those who want to try shooting must be over 15 years of age and taller than 1.40 metres)

Join us on a journey through the local history of the utilisation of wood. In the 19th century the timber felled in the Karwendel massif was driven down the river to Scharnitz where it was processed. This nature hike takes us through the fascinating Gleirschklamm gorge and on to the Oberbrunnalm mountain hut, where we can rest and enjoy a bite to eat, before we conti-nue through the little-known Isertal valley, past the Teufelsloch-klamm gorge back to Scharnitz. This summer too the ringing of the bell each Friday will be followed by the reading of a text by Tyrole-an author Hans Augustin to promote peace in the world.
