Dear Mission-Partners!

Our 2009/2010 Crusade Season concluded triumphantly! In the last three

campaigns, a total of 1.3 million people received Jesus as their Saviour

and completed decision cards! Praise be to God! That is 1.3 million souls

rescued from the pit of hell, and 1.3 million who have added their names to

the Book of Life!

Now, these precious new converts are being integrated into the hundreds of

participating churches in the three towns through the comprehensive follow-

up programme.

Yes, we are plundering hell to populate heaven for Calvary’s sake! The

impact of the Gospel is eternal, however, we can see the evidence of the life-

transforming Gospel right here and now.

The Apostle Paul said, “The life I now live, I live by faith in the Son of God.”

At this faith-point, lives change, personalities are remolded, and outlooks are

revolutionized. Nothing can reshape life like faith in God. Following Christ

changes individuals, which reforms cities and alters the course of entire nations.

Thank you for partnering with us and with the Lord to transform lives

now and for eternity. We are co-laborers together with Him for the sake of

millions of souls.

True joy: Each evangelistic outreach is a huge celebrated happening.

Camping out on the fully from the Harmattan sand lit-tered campaign field in Takum. Whatever helps to protect from the sun is used as a tent roof.

A man who was blind and crippled in his hands and feet received total and instantaneous healing in Takum. Daniel Kolenda tested his eyes,

hands and feet all at the same time when he asked the man to catch him. The healed man’s quickness and strength were amazing, and he was

overflowing with joy.

A precious woman also received multiple miracles tonight; her deaf ears and blind eyes were all opened.

We heard several powerful testimonies including one of a man who had suffered from a painful and

deadly case of cancer of the mouth. 5 years ago he came to Jalingo (a nearby town) when the CfaN crusade was being held there. During one of those meetings, his cancer vanished instantly and from that day to this, he has been totally healed.

“ I’m so very happy,...”he told the crowd.

Miracle after Miracle

A man crippled for 28 years was healed along with another man crippled for 8 years and one for 6 years.

This interesting testimony was from a

woman who was barren 2 years ago when we came to Yola (which is also here in Adamawa state). During that crusade, she was healed and she had a little boy 9-months later. I asked her what they had named the child. “His name is Reinhard” she told me. The crowd rejoiced.

A man who had suffered a stroke and been paralyzed for 16 years was also totally healed

A fascinating story came from a

woman who had been paralyzed for the past two years. In the middle of the night, she was sleeping on the crusade ground, when suddenly she felt the Holy Spirit come over her like a breeze. She jumped up and suddenly realized that she was totally well.

... Salvations! On the first Sunday many of the local pastors reported that their churches were flooded with new converts and an entire city had been impacted by the power of the Gospel in a profound way. This is every soul-winner’s dream!

At the first meeting in Numan where 85,000

people covered the field! During the message

our huge generator suddenly broke down leaving

the crowd in darkness. Our technical team

was working to find a solution when suddenly

thousands of voices began to sing out of the

darkness. The people were praising the Lord and

worshiping… it was so beautiful. When the power

came back on we realized that no one had left.

John 1:5: “The light shines in the darkness…”

On the final morning, the Fire Conference venue

was packed by 5:30 am. Reverend Peter van den

Berg and Evangelist Daniel Kolenda preached as

the sun was still rising, but the people were wide-

awake. That same day, the evening crusade hosted

200,000 people in one meeting.

A Muslim man, who was instantly healed of

severe chronic pain that had plagued him for many

years, said, “There are many Muslims here tonight

that know me.” When Daniel Kolenda asked him if

he had received Jesus as his Saviour he replied,

“YES, I have received him with both hands!”

He told of the great joy in his heart, which he

never had before. He had been truly born again

and he finished by saying, “I thank God in the

name of Jesus Christ!”

By the time the Gospel Campaign had come to

a close, a total of 835,000 people had attended

the meetings and a huge percentage of them had

made positive decisions to receive Jesus Christ

as their Savior. Also, 45,000 people had attended

the Fire Conference and innumerable healings,

deliverances, and in the Holy Spirit baptisms

took place.

A Song in the DArkneSS

Our journey to Takum was a very

long one. The “harmattan” (a dust

storm from the Sahara Desert)

covered Nigeria in a thick fog that

blotted out the sun and grounded

many planes... including ours, for

lack of visibility. By the time we

arrived here it was 1:00 am. We

thought that surely everyone in

town would be sleeping. But to

our surprise the streets were still

lined with enthusiastic locals that

had been waiting for many hours

to welcome us. It was clear that

this city was ripe for the harvest

and we are here bringing in the

sheaves.

Every night, after the prayer for sal-

vation, the Holy Spirit fell again on

the crowd. Daniel Kolenda prayed

for the sick and mighty miracles

began to break out. Everywhere

incredible things were happening.

By the end of the week in Takum,

the attendance on the last night

alone topped 185,000 in that re-

mote place! Every external indica-

tor had shown that God had done

something remarkable. Also, a

large contingent of Fulani Muslim

people received Jesus Christ and

have become true Christians. At

the conclusion of the crusade,

Daniel Kolenda shared, “There are

no words to describe the privilege

of leading multitudes of hungry

souls into the arms of Jesus. The

harvest goes on.”

GETTING THROUGH TO THE THRONE OF GOD

A schoolboy once asked, “How can you call something new which is 2,000 years old? Jesus is history, not news.” The boy

made a mistake. Only dead people are history. Jesus is alive and active throughout the world. He is a world figure, and all world figures are news, especially this One.

The word “gospel” comes from the Old English, “god” (good) and “spell” (message) which is a translation of the Greek “evangelion.” The gospel is not only what Jesus did, but what He does. Acts 1:1 states, “The former account I made … about all that Jesus began both to do and teach.” He began to do it, and He is still doing it. He is making news today.

Two thousand years are nothing to Him. The sun is old, but active. The Bible is old, but powerful. If a telephone directory contains the right numbers, it does not mat-ter how old it is. When I take the Bible and use it, I get through to the throne of God. The gospel is God’s word. Agreed?
