So why should you choose a condensate pump? Traditionally, removing condensate water from an air conditioning unit is an inflexible and often unattractive challenge.

Condensate removal pumps ensure a professional, aesthetically pleasing installation every time. With easy access for maintenance, a pump ensures that air conditioning units are placed where requested with no unsightly pipework. The condensate water can be effectively managed to the relevant source such as a soil stack or grey water tank, ensuring a professional finish everytime.

We understand that flexibility is key when considering your installation. Gravity drainage can often bring limitations on placement of the unit – indoor or outdoor. Condensate removal pumps allow optimum positioning and aesthetics in any installation, without losing out on efficiency or performance. Sometimes gravity drainage just isn’t an option. Removal of condensate water in spaces such as basements, shallow ceiling voids and glass buildings never need to be an problem again. Pump Technology

Aspen Mini Pumps use a small piston that oscillates at 50 (or 60) times a second and two non-return valves (one before, and one after the piston) to create water flow by positive displacement. Piston pumps are small, quiet and offer flexible installation options.

A flexible tube is housed between a circular casing and rotor plate. Rollers attached to external circumference of the rotor plate pinch the tube as the plate rotates creating flow out and suction in. Peristaltic pumps are ideal for dirty water and high head applications.

In a centrifugal pump an impellor is housed inside curved chamber. The impellor is rotated by a motor to create flow (as the impellor turns, water is forced along the impellor blades and out of the chamber). The pumps are economical and idea for high flow rates.

Rotating cams are used to push and release a flexible membrane to create water flow by positive displacement. Two check valves ensure water flow is only in one direction. Aspen use these power pumps in our ERRP pumps which have been developed specifically for supermarket applications.
