The two pincers of demographics and vast education failure is shrinking India’s window. If this is solved, India can become the world’s knowledge factory, just as China will be the world’s manufacturing factory, and Brazil the world’s farm.

No new ideas apart from tired ‘cheap laptop’ and worries of language diversity.
Fuel crisis of future opens chance for India to use biofuel need to lift up BOP. But easier to develop for export than sell within India.

Develop spoken web to reach across illiteracy and language diversity. Difficult to cross the chasm with no early adopters and no govt to bridge.
A billion cameras enable sousveillance from bottoms up of govt abuses. Would this lead to better governance?
Cannot take mainstream tech and scale down, but create from scratch for BOP.
Plenty of innovation. But no platform to scale, or network to crowdsource best solutions. If you cannot standardize and sell, there is no reward for BOP innovation.
