Dr. Cynthia Thaik is board certified in internal medicine and noninvasive cardiology. She is a Harvard trained physician who has been practicing medicine for over 20 years with specializations in women’s health, cardiovascular health and congestive heart failure. Her continued interest in health and nutrition turned into a quest to find a way to bring a program that improves health and promotes overall changes for a healthier lifestyle.
While searching for a solution to offer to her patients, she was introduced to Ideal Protein, a weight loss method that improves energy while reducing cravings and maintaining vitamin levels and muscle mass for long-‐term success. After participating in the Ideal Protein protocol herself, she began offering it to patients with significant weight as part of their health conditions. Her patients experienced such great success, that soon her patients’ friends and family were eager to participate.
With this growing interest she founded Revitalize-U, A New Body Image. a wellness center focused on health, nutrition, weight loss and detoxification. This program allows her to continue to focus on her patients in
cardiology, while offering a true, long-‐term weight loss solution to anyone who wants to lose weight and make healthy lifestyle changes.
As a strong believer in the importance of wellness, Dr. Thaik has continued to incorporate these habits with her family. She has adjusted her own health habits and those of her family. Her sons, age 11 and 7, and daughter, 8, are now drinking green smoothies with almond or soy milk rather than dairy and she is learning more about the health benefits of a Vegan lifestyle. Dr. Thaik and her husband are now incorporating many raw foods into their meals.
Dr. Thaik is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine at University of California, Los Angeles School of Medicine and the Co-‐Director of the Women’s Cardiac Risk Screening Program at Providence Saint Joseph Medical Center in Burbank. A member of Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine, PCRM, and a recipient of the Cardiovascular Research Award from the American College of Cardiology, 1995.

101 Positive Affirmations To Revitalize-U Introduction
1
Throughout the day, whether we realize it or not,
affirmations are the equivalent of subconscious
thought. Every thought we express in our mind is an
affirmation, can be positive or negative and consists
of streams of self-‐talk. Many affirmations are beliefs
or learned thinking patterns embedded into our
subconscious since early childhood. Affirmations are
shaped from our inner belief systems to define who
we are. The subconscious mind uses these learned
beliefs or behavior patterns to dictate our actions,
which then dictate the universe’s reaction. Consider
how each and every one of us is but an energetic
vibration. The frequency, at which we vibrate,
whether positive or negative, is reflected back at us in
our interactions with the universe.
2
In order to manifest and achieve the life we want to
lead and have the good health we deserve, positive
affirmations are an important and necessary
ingredient. Expressing positive affirmations and
visualizing what we want can create powerful life-‐
changing transformations. This is known as Creative
Visualization. Like the Universal Law of Attraction,
our own subconscious beliefs define our reality.
Positive affirmations and positive thinking lead to
positive attitudes bringing love, kindness, gratitude
and other wonderful things to our lives. Positive
thoughts and feelings help release emotional stress
and negative energy, allowing us to connect with
Nature and the Universe to manifest any changes we
desire to enrich our lives.

Some of the most powerful words to use in an affirmation are “I am,” “I can,”
and “I will.” Self-‐affirmations work like magic because they convey intention
and determination. By saying and believing these affirmations to ourselves,
reading them out loud, and writing them down, we are taking ownership of
these thoughts, and declaring to ourselves and the universe our deepest
beliefs and desires. The more often we state these affirmations, the more
belief we will have from within and the more empowered we will be.
Affirmations are statements we declare with conviction. Affirmations are
personal for each individual and most effective when stated with
passion. Affirmations should touch us deep down inside, excite – even thrill us,
and make us feel wonderful, refreshed and revitalized. Affirmations need to be
in the present tense, expressed in a current state of being. An affirmation
needs to be achievable in our mind and believable in our heart. Affirmations
are often initially met with resistance or negative emotions. It can take some
mental effort to reprogram years of negative beliefs and self-‐doubts. The inner
work may seem tremendous yet only makes us stronger and more
empowered. Persistence is key to bring a newly found sense of well being as
we align ourselves with our divine inner self.
We’re giving you 101 affirmations to support your heart, body, mind, and soul.
Pick only one from the area you are working on the most, and use it for a week
before moving on to the next. You can tell yourself (either in thought or out
loud) the affirmation whenever you think of it, say it to yourself when you
wake up or every hour, write it down on small pieces of paper that you post on
your bathroom mirror and around your living space, and write about the
affirmation before going to sleep each night. After the first week, pick another
affirmation from that same section or alternate with affirmations from the
four areas of life you want to strengthen. Over time, your mind will
incorporate these new ways of thinking. Soon your heart, mind and soul will
respond with greater feelings of pride, joy, self-‐worth, and self-‐confidence.
Enjoy!
