Absence from work due to mental ill health already costs UK industry £8.4 billion a year. It is therefore in the interest of employers to look after the mental well being of their work force. Looking after the mental well being of your work force will contribute significantly to the productivity of your organisation. employment support Gofal Cymru’s Employment Support Gofal Cymru offers a range of services that provide practical support and advice to employers, employees, and those currently not in work but seeking to return; that promote mental well being and enable good practice in employment practices. Services include Work preparation support One to one individually tailored support for employees Two way support between employee and direct line manager Advice and support to line managers dealing with mental ill health in direct reports. Bespoke mental health awareness and employment training courses Who we are: Gofal Cymru is a registered mental health charity and not for profit organisation which has been providing high quality community based mental health services for over 18 years across Wales. Gofal Cymru provides services of the highest quality which are innovative, holistic and enable service users to live independently within their local communities. We work in partnership with and receive funding from the Welsh Assembly Government, Local Authorities, the Department for Work and Pensions, Local Health Boards, the Big Lottery Fund and other organisations to develop and deliver our services. www.gofalcymru.org.uk Innovative services, person centred approach. At an initial meeting we will agree the support plan to be provided at times and locations to suit the individual.
