Under general supervision, the incumbent assists professional and technical staff in providing social service, vicm/ witness and related human service supports to an assigned client base. This posion will provide roune and structured office and field support to a variety of social service and human services programs, normally under the direct supervision of a profes- sional or technical staff member. Responsibilies include acng as a liaison between the client and the County, ensuring that the client obtains the necessary services and support. Ideal Candidate: The ideal candidate has strong communicaon and listening skills, as well as the ability to interact comfort- ably and professionally with populaons who may be experiencing homelessness, substance abuse, mental illness, or other barriers. The ideal candidate must have the ability to drive extensive distances within the State of California transporng clients of various age groups and the skills needed to perform office support dues such as; data entry and use of Microsoſt Office. Required Qualificaons: Minimum: Equivalent to graduaon from high school and some experience in working with the public. Preferred: In addion to the above minimum, and two (2) years experience in working with the public. Special Requirements: Must successfully complete an extensive and thorough background invesgaon which may include Live Scan fingerprinng and/or credit check prior to hire. Certain posions may be required to file statements of economic interest with the Yuba County Clerk/Recorder. The County of Yuba is recruiting to fill the position of Health & Human Services Aide in the Health & Human Services Depart-ment.
