1. Applications are invited in the prescribed pro-forma from the eligible candidates for engagement of security

personnel at different Government Hospitals in Kolkata to improve the security, queue management and access

control etc. purely on contractual basis for a period of 01 (one) year. The details are furnished below:-

4. Eligibility :

(i) The candidate should be a permanent resident of Kolkata Municipal Corporation area. The candidates residing in the Police Station area where the health facilities are located will be preferred.

(ii) Age limit is 20 - 50 years as on 01.01.2018.

(iii) Minimum Educational qualification- Class-VIII pass.

(iv) Preference will be given to the applicants who have done well in sports and have experience as

NCC Cadet/Boy Scouts/ NSS Volunteers/ Civil Defence Volunteers/ Civic Volunteers/Disaster

Management Duties etc.

(v) The candidate should not have any criminal record.

(vi) The candidate should be physically and mentally fit.

5. Method of Selection: The selection will be made on the basis of performance in the interview carrying 50

marks on current affairs, aptitude for security work, mental alertness and special skills (games and

sports, NCC, Boy scouts, NSS, Civil Defence, Civic Volunteers and Disaster Management Duties).

After the Interview a merit list of provisionally selected candidates will be prepared.

6. How to Apply :- The eligible candidates should submit their applications in the prescribed format to be

downloaded from Kolkata Police Website: www.kolkatapolice.gov.in or to be collected from the office of the

Deputy Commissioner of Police, Enforcement Branch, 112, Ripon Street, Kolkata – 700016, in person.

The application should contain the following documents:

(i) Self attested copy of proof of address (Voter ID Card / Aadhaar Card/ e-Aadhaar Card with photograph/ Passport/ Driving License/ Bank Pass book/ Electric Bill/ Telephone Bill).

(ii) A copy of recent passport size (4.5cm x 3.5cm), self attested photograph. (iii) Self attested copy of proof of age (Birth Certificate/ Pan Card/ School leaving certificate/ Admit

card of Madhyamik or its equivalent examination/ Aadhaar Card/ Passport/ Driving License). (iv) Self attested copies of certificates of Educational Qualification. (v) Self attested copies of certificates of extracurricular activities, if any. (vi) Self attested copy of Caste certificate.

The application form duly filled in along with the prescribed documents should be submitted personally (not by post or any other means) in the DROP BOX kept, in the Following Police Stations:

Last date and time of receipt of application: - Upto 5.00 PM on 6th June, 2018

No application will be received after the last date and time of receipt of application.

Incomplete applications / applications without supporting documents will be treated as cancelled. The contractual service condition will be as per existing Govt. rules and regulations.

SUBMISSION OF MULTIPLE APPLICATIONS WILL RESULT IN REJECTION OF ALL THE APPLICATIONS.
