(a) The EOI documents including all the Annexure can be downloaded from the website

(www.sbi.co.in or www.statebankofindia.com/procurement) of the Bank.(b) The duly completed EOI application for each trade and each category should be

accompanied with a demand draft for Rs. 5000/-( Non-refundable) favouring " State

Bank Of India" drawn on Mumbai.

(c) The authorized signatory of the applicant should sign on all the documents that the

applicant is submitting. The words of gender references like ‘he’ and ‘his’ in these

documents shall mean and include both the genders.

(d ) Separate application is required to be submitted for each trade and each category.

(e) All information is to be submitted as per respective Annexure to this EOI.

(f) Documentary evidence (self attested Xerox copies) should be submitted along with the

application. Originals will have to be submitted for verification whenever called for by

the Bank.

(g) Contractors who are already empanelled with SBI are required to re-apply enclosing

SBI’s valid empanelment also.

(h) The bids of the applicants who do not accept the terms and conditions and who do not

furnish the requisite documentary evidence within the time prescribed by Bank shall be

summarily rejected. Any misleading information shall lead to disqualification of response.

General Terms and Conditions:

(i) Responses to EOI duly completed in all respects should be submitted in a sealed cover

superscribed “Empanelment of Contractors – (name of Category)” through

post/courier/hand-delivery to the Asstt. General Manager (Premises & Estate), State

Bank of India, Premises & Estate Department, 3rd floor, ‘C-6’, ‘G’ Block, Bandra-Kurla

Complex, Bandra (East), Mumbai – 400051, either in person of by post/courier, So as to

reach the Bank on or before 5.00 pm on 07.10.2013. The Bank shall not be responsible

for any postal delay/loss/non receipt thereof. Responses received after the date and time

specified above, shall not be considered.

(j) No applications will be accepted after the appointed date and time.

(k) The Committee / designated members shall visit some / all of the reference sites of the

eligible applicants. The applicants shall ensure that access to reference sites / contract

persons are made available as per the convenience of the Committee. The responses shall

be evaluated on the basis of the laid down terms and conditions and feedback from site

visits and short-listing of applicants shall be done accordingly.

(l) Submission of Response to EOI will be constructed to mean that the applicant has agreed

to all the terms and conditions of this EOI.

(m) Applicants Firm / Company for Electrical Work should have valid Electrical License and

supervisory License from Competent Authority, in the name of Firm / Company /

Individual and should have carried out LT work equivalent to financial crieteria

mentioned at page no.5.

(n) Application will be evaluated on the basis of the performance mentioned in the

application as well as verification of the documents / facts and due diligence as may be

warranted.

(o) The Bank may use criteria and information in addition to what has been asked above for

evaluation. This would include, but may not be limited to, evaluation of applicant’s

existing work by making site visits, to the respective offices and the executed works of

respective categories.

(p)The final decision on empanelment rests with the Bank and the Bank reserves the right

to reject any or all of the responses submitted, without assigning any reason.

Applicant for electrical work should have valid Electrical Licenses forrespective Electrical Category in the name of firm/company/individual andshould have carried out LT work equivalent to financial crieteria mentioned atpage no.5.

Annexure - II

PREQUALIFICATION CRITERIA FOR CONTRACTORS FOR CIVIL, INTERIOR, ELECTRICAL, SPECIALISED STRUCTURAL REPAIRS. AND ARCHITECTS.

Average annual financial turnover during the last 3 years ending 31st March2013, should be at least 30% of the higher limit given in the respectivecategories for works.

Experience of having successfully completed similar works during last one yearending 31/03/2013 should be either of the following (The self-attested copiesfor the executed work order shall have to be furnished to substantiate thefollowing eligibility criteria):

Adequate organizational structure with staff to execute work of nature andmagnitude given in the respective categories including qualified engineers,specialists and other technical officers

For Specialised Structural repairs the contactor/firm should have carried out similar

works and should have valid license.

Applicant for civil works should have necessary arrangement for hiringlicentiate plumber in the event of plumbing works

Any person desirous of carrying on the profession of Architect must have been registered himself with Coucil of architecture.For the purpose of registeration one must possess the requisite qualification as appended to the Architect"s Act after having undergone the education in accordance with the Council of Architecture.regulation 1983,The registration with Council of architecture entitles a oerson to paractice the profession of Architecture provided he holds the certificate registeration with up to date renewals The title and the style of

Architect can also be used by a firm of Architects of which all the partners are registered with COA.Limited Companies,private/Public companies,Societies and other juridical persons not entitl to use the title and style of Architect nor they are entitle to practice the profeesion of architecture.If any person falsely claims to be registered or misuses the title and style of Architects such acts tenamount to commiting of criminal offence which is punishabl and the fim will be depanelled immidiately.
