A recent graduate of Philadelphia University’s College of Architecture + the Built Environment’s completing a 5-year Bachleor of Science in Architecture as well as a minor in Environmental Convservation Biology. This combination of studies has led to a strong foundation in anayltical research and data collection. Much of the Architectural work and images in this portfolio place a strong emphasis on the study of the interaction between environmental sysems and the built urban environment. By placing a large emphasis on data collection and research it is possible to create stronger connections to the neighborhoods and enenvironments that these buildings are constructed in ultimatly will habitat with providing, shelter, experiences, + community engagement. Fabrication and model construction is also key to the design methodolgy providing the oppurtunites to exprience spaces in three dimensional space while also beginning to understand the interactions between materials and outside stimuli like light, weather, and site conditions. emitarchitecture

TD Bank Design Competition

This collaboratiThis collaborative project for TD Bank challenged fourth year architecture and third year interior design students to work in teams of two to create a new identity for the TD bank of the future. This propsal looked at the notion of using prefabrication and modular design to create banks that were easy to transport to a variety of sites and could be easily disassembled and moved if needed. Various design elements were incoporated and re-imagined from TD banks “iconic” entry tower to their need for transparency and accessiblilty to the neighborhoods as well as wanting a design that could begin to function as a new brand identity identity for the banking industry. This design incorporates a series of prefabricated perforated aluminum panels that wrap the building providing necessary solar shading as well acting as a rain screen for the buiding and a transisitional element before the main entrance.

Philadelphia University New Architecture Building Challenge

This pThis project was completed during the fifth year comprehensive design studio and involved working in small groups of up to three architecture students to design a new architecture building for the College of Architecture + the Built Envirionment. This bay model depicts one of the focal points of the proposed scheme including the highly visible central staircase with public galleries for displaying student work as well as traveling exhibits from architects and other universities programs.
