About this ReviewEmerging technology is a relative term, because someone may see a technology as emerging and others may not see it the same way. According to BusinessDictionary.com, emerging technology is a new technology that is currently being developed, or will be developed within the next five to ten years or later .

Who should use this ReviewEmerging Technologies and the trends they create have the potential to disrupt existing industries, create new ones and redefine traditional industry boundaries. This Review is aimed at senior executives, investors and individuals who want to understand what the future holds and use these insights to develop profitable strategies.

Three dimension printers

3D printing or additive manufacturing is a process of making three dimensional solid objects from a digital file. The creation of a 3D printed object is achieved using additive processes. In an additive process an object is created by laying down successive layers of material until the entire object is created. Each of these layers can be seen as a thinly sliced horizontal cross-section of the eventual object.

Artificial blood

Artificial blood is a product made to act as a substitute for red blood cells. While true blood serves many different functions, artificial blood is designed for the sole purpose of transporting oxygen and carbon dioxide throughout the body. Depending on the type of artificial blood, it can be produced in different ways using synthetic production, chemical isolation, or recombinant biochemical technology. Development of the first blood substitutes dates back to the early 1600s, and the search for the ideal blood substitute continues. Various manufacturers have products in clinical trials; however, no truly safe and effective artificial blood product is currently marketed. It is anticipated that when an artificial blood product is available, it will have annual sales of over $7.6 billion in the United States alone.

Emotion Tracker

Emotion Tracker is based on the idea that it will develop an individual’s cognitive skills and their ability to recognize feelings. Actually already the simple act of stopping and identifying emotions is already an intervention that has positive health effects. The identification of emotions is something that is widely recognized among health care professions as something that is necessary if you want to increase your wellbeing. Actually the task of tracking emotions is something that doctors already “order” patients to do – but with “paper and pen". Emotion Tracker has unique emotion categorization which will encourage the you to recognize the emotion in more detail. We often talk about emotions in too vague way and Emotion Tracker will help you with more specific identification.

LIFI • Expect to hear a whole lot more about Li-Fi - a wireless technology

that transmits high-speed data using visible light communication (VLC) - in the coming months. With scientists achieving speeds of 224 gigabits per second in the lab using Li-Fi earlier this year, the potential for this technology to change everything about the way we use the Internet is huge.• And now, scientists have taken Li-Fi out of the lab for the first time,

trialing it in offices and industrial environments in Tallinn, Estonia, reporting that they can achieve data transmission at 1 GB per second - that's 100 times faster the current average Wi-Fi speed

Solar cell

• Solar cells are devices that convert light energy directly into electrical energy. In these cells, there are semiconductors (silicon alloys and other materials). You may have seen small solar cells on calculators or some mobile phones. Larger arrays of solar cells are used to power road signs, and even larger arrays are used to power satellites in orbit around Earth. Solar cells are also called photovoltaic cells or PV devices.• A photovoltaic cell (PV cell) is a specialized semi conductor diode that

converts visible light into direct current (DC).

Enhanced Organs

All the researchers and scientists are concentrating on creating organs that can replace failed organs. But there might be some brand new organs that don’t exist in the human body, but can be transplanted into the human body to enhance the functionality.

For example you can create an organ that can generate electricity within the body.

Drones

Drones are more formally known as unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV). Essentially, a drone is a flying robot. The aircraft may be remotely controlled or can fly autonomously through software-controlled flight plans in their Embedded system working in conjunction with GPS.  UAVs have most often been associated with the military but they are also used for search and rescue, surveillance, traffic monitoring, weather monitoring and firefighting, among other things.
