1. DECIDING THE EVENT MANAGEMENT1. DECIDING THE EVENT MANAGEMENT• Interested party approaches the event mgmt team or the

event manager to inform them about the event to be celebrated.

• He gives details about nature of celebration, date of event, no. of invitees, venue, budget estimate etc.

• The event manager will consider the proposal & seek additional information & accordingly decide whether to accept or not.

• If the offer is accepted, he’ll inform the client about the commission & other details.

• A contract is entered between the two, event manager accepts the responsibility to celebrate the event.

• An advance is paid to the event manager & the client keeps a close contact with him, till the end of the event.

• Mistakes & drawbacks can be rectified on time.

• The event manager should spend the money as per the budget and should not exceed it.

• Proper accounts of the money spent should be maintained.

• All bills, invoices, payment receipts should be preserved properly.

• The success of the event depends on the actual event day how the event is managed. It is a success if everyone is happy.
