event manager to inform them about the event to be celebrated.

• He gives details about nature of celebration, date of event, no. of invitees, venue, budget estimate etc.

• The event manager will consider the proposal & seek additional information & accordingly decide whether to accept or not.

• If the offer is accepted, he’ll inform the client about the commission & other details.

• A contract is entered between the two, event manager accepts the responsibility to celebrate the event.

• An advance is paid to the event manager & the client keeps a close contact with him, till the end of the event.

• This is an important step, as the event manager plans for the event celebration in a systematic & orderly manner.

• Involves booking of the hall, lighting & decorations, sitting arrangements, dining, reception etc.
