are called "Sub-6" in a derogatory tone-of-voice by some 5G folks. This is a marketing ploy, mainly by Verizon and AT&T salespeople: " Sub-6" means "Low-band" plus "Mid-band".The "Mid-band" frequency range for 5G will be the "sweet spot" with significantly faster speeds but penetration of walls and objects that is better than "high-band" 5G.
