This map illustrates satellite-detected damagedensity along the road connecting the cities ofMorobo and Koya, Nahr Yei district, CentralEquatoria, South Sudan. Using satellite imageryacquired 05 March 2017, UNITAR - UNOSATidentified a total of around 7,800 destroyedstructures within the analysis extent of the currentmap (approximately 600 square kilometers). Thewhole analysis over the Nahr Yei district coversan area of approximately 3,640 squarekilometers, and the results show over 18,300destroyed structures. This is a preliminaryanalysis and has not yet been validated in thefield. Please send ground feedback to UNITAR -UNOSAT.
