1. Download both collect-perfdatacollect-perfdata and collect.plcollect.pl scripts by clicking on the Download PerfDownload PerfScriptScript and Download Collect ScriptDownload Collect Script buttons respectively.

2. Make sure you have access to the VNX File/Celerra control station.3. Execute the collect.plcollect.pl script first on the VNX File/Celerra control station: perl co llect-perl co llect-

perfdata.plperfdata.pl4. Wait for 48 hours for the script to complete. Leave your SSH window open during the time

(closing the SSH window terminates the script). Alternatively, you can run the script with: nohupnohupperl co llect-perfdata.plperl co llect-perfdata.pl

5. Execute the collect.plcollect.pl script, which collects performance data plus additional configuration data.6. Submit the results of the collect.plcollect.pl script that are in the folder you specified in --outputdir--outputdir

Examples:perl collect.pl -perfonly --outputdir /your_local_output_directoryperl collect.pl --basic --outputdir /your_local_output_directoryperl collect.pl --full --outputdir /your_local_output_directory

Collect types:--perfonly : collect only performance data created by collect-perfdata.pl--basic : collect performance data and CCC and ArrayConfig .XML--full : collect full array config (perfdata, CCC, SPCollect, ArrayConfig , NASCheckup, SupportMats)

PACKAGING THE DATA FILES1. Combine all the results into a single zip per system.2. Submit the archive file to Mitrend. Do not submit multiple files per system.
