Systema otot
• Semua otot berkembang dari mesoderm kecuali: m. ciliaris dan m. sphincter pupillae (terbentuk dari ectoderm)
• Otot rangka berasal dari : mesoderm paraxiale
• Otot polos dan otot jantung dari: mesoderm splanchnicus

Pembentukan otot-otot
• Pola pembentukan otot dikendalikan oleh jaringan penyambung ke mana myoblast bermigrasi.
• Di kepala jrg penyambung berasal dari sel-sel crista neuralis
• Di daerah cervical dan occipital, berasal dari mesodem somit.
• Di daerah ddg tubuh dan extremitas, dari mesoderm somatis

• Menjelang akhir minggu ke 5 Myotom terbagi mejadi dua yaitu :• Otot epimer ( di bgn dorsal ) akan membentuk otot extensoren tlg belakang• Otot hypomer ( di bagian ventral), memebentuk otot-otot flrxoren ventral dan
