Emanuel School - Music Scholarships 2019 Music Scholarships are available to students entering Year 7 or Year 9 in the following year who, in addition to performing well in academic scholarship testing, demonstrate exceptionally advanced performance skills on at least one instrument or voice.

The scholarships provide for up to 50% of academic tuition fees for the remainder of the student's secondary schooling, subject to the Music Scholarship Annual Review Conditions listed below. The scholarship does not cover private music tuition, compulsory fees, subject levies, textbooks or uniforms.

To be considered for a 2019 Music Scholarship at Emanuel School applicants must do the following:

1. Complete the online Music Scholarship application form, preferably by Monday 4 December and no later than Monday 5 February

2018 (see note below).

2. Pass the initial screening. Only applicants that meet the Music Scholarship Criteria below will be invited early in 2018 to attend

the Music Scholarship Test and Audition.

3. Register by Monday 5 February 2018 for the ACER Academic Test, to be held at Emanuel School on Thursday 15 February 2018.

4. Attend the Music Scholarship Test and Audition on Thursday 15 March 2018.

Note: Not all Music Scholarship applicants will be invited to participate in the Music Scholarship Test and Audition. For applicants who are applying only for a Music Scholarship and wish to avoid unnecessary academic testing, please ensure you have completed the online registration form by Monday 4 December. This deadline will allow the Music Department time to contact parents of students who will not be invited to participate in the Music Scholarship Test and Audition before they register and pay $93 for ACER academic testing. This contact will be made by 3:30pm on Friday 8 December. For students wishing to be considered for both the Music and Academic Scholarship, this is not a concern.
