In the distance a wide-eyed snowy owl perches on delicate pine branches, her call reaching out far and wide, carried by gentle winds across expansive skies. Nearby a majestic Evesham deer, stands proudly, head turned, listening, waiting.

Spectacular remote landscapes, ethereal and shrouded in mystery change with the seasons, their enduring beauty dappled with light and shade. Overhead the sound of beating wings as greylag geese take flight, heading east in search of new beginnings. For this is Elysian, a place full of wonder and mystery, where the ends of the earth reach up and touch the perfect stars.

Meaning beautiful and peaceful, Elysian from Sanderson is a characterful collection, combining country style with sumptuously rich colours and velvets. Creating a warm, welcoming haven for elegant family living, Elysian includes a range of nine wallpaper designs, nine prints, three embroideries and one jacquard. The collection has been coloured to complement the new Sanderson Paint range, picking up on darker, more autumnal hues, accented with brighter greens and a variety of wonderful greys.

Rebecca Craig, Sanderson’s head of design said, “The Sanderson studio has been inspired by ancient

woodlands, native wildlife and rare and beautiful plants. Finding an almost divine calm from a time where myths and legends began, Elysian’s designs have been painted by a team of highly skilled artists, capturing the beauty of the natural world. Together with a hand-picked selection of revered Sanderson archive documents, Elysian is a complete collection, divinely influenced, with its origins cloaked in the mist of time.”

To complement Elysian, the Islay Wool book offers stunning new colour combinations of modern plaids, woven in a soft marled wool quality. Coordinating with Elysian’s prints and wallpapers, Islay Wool gives an exciting new decorating story to the entire Sanderson range.

Elysian features a wide variety of colours including Forest Green, Blue Clay, Mulberry, Teal, Honey, Copper and Russet, accented with delicate metallic highlights for a complete look.

The launch comprises three books: Elysian Wallpapers, Elysian Fabrics and Islay Wools
