Day 1. 02 Jan - Australia - Los AngelesArrive in Los Angeles where you will be met and transferred to the Hacienda Hotel. This evening we will have a welcome dinner at the hotel. Come along and get to know your fellow passengers.

Day 2. 03 Jan - Los Angeles - DisneylandA fun day as we head to Disneyland. Enjoy the rides, see your favourite characters, soak up the atmosphere of ‘Main Street’ and the eight ‘lands’ of the magic kingdom.

Day 3. 04 Jan - Los Angeles - NashvilleTransfer to Los Angeles airport for our flight to Nashville. On arrival you will be met and transferred by coach to our hotel, the fabulous Gaylord Opryland Resort, Nashville's premier hotel. All the excitement and energy of Music City are contained under one spectacular glass atrium with nine acres of indoor gardens, cascading waterfalls and an indoor river meandering around an array of dining and shopping options. This evening, we head out for a dinner cruise on board the ‘General Jackson’ showboat, a traditional style paddlesteamer.

Day 4. 05 Jan - Nashville sightseeingWe begin with a city tour, then to the Country Music Hall of Fame. This fascinating venue will acquaint you with the history of Country Music and memorabilia from some of the biggest stars. The highlight will be our visit to Studio B where Elvis recorded many songs. Tonight is free.

Day 5. 06 Jan - Nashville - Jack Daniels TourToday we head to Lynchburg, home of Jack Daniels, where we tour the famous distillery and learn the secrets of making Tennessee whisky. Then we'll lunch at Miss

Mary Bobo's Boarding House Restaurant in Main Street, now in its 100th year. Enjoy the down-home cooking just like Mr. Jack did a century ago. We return to our hotel in the late afternoon.

Day 6. 07 Jan - Nashville - Tupelo - MemphisThis morning, we depart by deluxe coach for Memphis. En-route we’ll stop in Tupelo and tour the Elvis Presley Museum, Chapel, Church and Birthplace, a modest two-room house where the Elvis was born on January 8,1935. We’ll be taken on a two hour tour by an expert guide who will show us how Elvis and his family lived before his fame. On arrival in Memphis, we’ll check-in to our hotel, our home for five nights. Tonight is free - why not stroll along Beale St.

Day 7. 08 Jan - Memphis - Elvis' Birthday CelebrationsToday is Elvis' birthday and we'll be at Graceland for all the celebrations and activities. In previous years there have been such varied events as a Gospel Tribute, birthday cake tasting, concerts, talks, tours and dances. There's sure to be an extra-special program of events for this very significant occasion.The official birthday celebration schedule has not been confirmed at time of printing. However, be assured that you will enjoy a great program of activities and events during your stay in Memphis. Note that the order of sightseeing/visits may change.

Day 8. 09 Jan - "Walk a Mile in Elvis’ Shoes" tour A true Elvis Fan will not want to miss this once-in-a-life time tour! This all-Elvis tour focuses entirely on the life of Elvis Presley. Therefore, it includes many sites that are not featured on traditional Memphis City Tours. Elvis loved to show his friends where he worked, played and lived. In 1956 Elvis took his friends to sites that you will visit today, such as his high school, Humes High, his old neighborhood at Lauderdale Courts and Pop Tunes where Elvis would linger hoping to meet Sam Phillips. Some sites will be narrations as time has taken its toll; some will be drive-bys and others pictures stops. The highlight of this one-of-a-kind adventure will be at Lauderdale Courts. In 1949, shortly after they moved to Memphis from Tupelo, the Presleys moved into 185 Winchester, apartment #328 at Lauderdale Courts. The 8th January, 2015 marks the 80th birthday of Elvis Presley. Fans of all ages from around the world will gather in Memphis Tennessee at this time. It promises to be a wonderful commemoration of the music, magic, memories and legacy of Elvis Presley - all in an atmosphere of international friendship and camaraderie. Everyone is welcome. Everyone belongs. Everyone has a great time. Whoever you are or wherever you’re from, if you’re into Elvis, then you need to join us in Memphis in 2015.

made at Super Cycle, where you will be invited inside to tour a very unique museum and actually meet friends of Elvis. Elvis bought his motorcycles here and had custom recreation vehicles designed. The Elliotts will share stories of their time with Elvis and tell you about their collection of memorabilia. The remainder of the afternoon will be spent seeing sites that had a significant impact on the life of this extraordinary young man. Picture stops will be made at the Overton Park Band Shell where Elvis first performed in 1956 and at Elvis’ Audubon home where he and his family lived before moving to Graceland. Our tour ends at Forest Hill Cemetery where Elvis was buried in a mausoleum until his father, Vernon moved his grave to its final resting place in Meditation Garden at Graceland.

Day 9. 10 Jan - Memphis - Visit GracelandToday we'll return to Graceland for more Elvis celebrations and our 'Platinum' tour. On show is the largest privately owned collection of gold records in the world plus elaborate stage costumes and jewellery. The mansion tour ends with a visit to the Meditation Garden. See the 1955 pink Cadillac in the Elvis Presley Automobile Museum and climb aboard his custom jet the ‘Lisa Marie’. Tonight is free.

Day 10. 11 Jan - Memphis at leisure Today is free. Why not visit some Memphis attractions such as Mud Island River Park; then indulge in some shopping at the Peabody Place Entertainment Center.

Day 11. 12 Jan - Depart MemphisThis morning you will be transferred to the airport for the flight via LA to Australia. You may like to extend with our optional add-ons or if you would prefer to travel to other parts of the USA, we can assist with all your arrangements.
