To prevent accidents and fatalities and maintaining traffic mobility.

To increase the quality of life of People.
PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVE
SPEED LIMITS•General or special rules to limit the speed due to crowd reason,
around the School, many activities around the road, energy saving ordue to geometric reason.
SPEED MANAGEMENTS•Procedures for managing speed in order to create balance between
safety and vehicle speed efficiency.
DEFINITION
SPEED LIMITS BE APPOINTED :
• LOWEST 60 (SIXTY) KM/HOUR IN FREE FLOW CONDITIONS AND HIGHEST 100 KM/HOUR FORFREEWAY.
• HIGHEST 80 (EIGHTY) KILOMETER PER HOUR FOR INTER CITY ROAD.
• HIGHEST 50 (FIFTY) KILOMETER PER HOUR FOR URBAN AREA; AND
• HIGHEST 30 (THIRTY) KILOMETER PER HOUR FOR SETTLEMENT AREA.

IMPLEMENTATION PLAN FOR SPEED LIMITS Safety Management System for Public Transport Company or in Bahasa, we
call it “SMK-PAU”. Legal Basis : Regulation of the Minister of Transportation of the Republic of
Indonesia Number 85 of 2018 about Safety Management System for PublicTransport Company/SMK-PAU.
Safety Management System for Public Transport Company is a part ofCompany Management in the form of a safety Governance, which isconducted by Public Transport Company comprehensively and coordinatedin order to realize safety and manage accident risk.
This regulation created to provide guidelines for Public Transport Companyin composing Safety Management System.
91 (Ninety One) Public Transport Companies (Inter-City and Inter-ProvinceBuses and Tour Bus) have been socialized with this program and 30 (Thirty)Companies have Submitted the SMK- PAU Document.
