Τεύχος 2ο In order to provide law students with an opportunity to gain legal knowledge and practical experience in different specific fields

of law, several ELSA groups organize law schools all over Europe.

A typical summer school includes seminars and workshops, panel discussions, trainings or mock trials as well as visits to law firms or other institutions. The academic programm is always combined with a social events, sightseeing or even sport

activities.

Γενικές Πληροφορίες που θα πρέπει να γνωρίζει ενδιαφερόμενοςA. Fee Information:

Ι.H Ελλάδα ανήκει στις non-favored countries

Non-Favored Countries: Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Croatia, Cyprus, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Slovenia, Slovakia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, The Netherlands, TheUnited Kingdom

ΙΙ. Τα ''basic fees'' περιλαμβάνουν : Συμμετοχή στο ακαδημαϊκό πρόγραμμα, διαμονή, όλα τα γεύματα και το συνεδριακό υλικό.

ΙΙ. Τα ''additional fees'': Είναι προαιρετικά και καλύπτουν συνήθως τα έξοδα για τα social events, το gala ball, ξεναγήσεις, μεταφορές

κατά τη διάρκεια του summer school, ενώ υπάρχει και η επιλογή μεταφορά σας από το σημείο άφιξης στο χώρο που λαμβάνει χώρα το

summer school, αλλά και το αντίστροφο.

ΙΙΙ. Tα ταξιδιωτικά έξοδα δε συμπεριλαμβάνονται στο fee. H οργανωτική επιτροπή θα σας παρέχει οδηγίες για το πώς αν φτάσετε

στον προορισμό σας.

B. Αpplication information:

I. Η περίοδος αιτήσεων έχει αρχίσει για τα περισσότερα summer law schools. Στο παρόν εγχειρίδιο θα βρείτε τους συνδέσμους που

παραπέμπουν στα application forms των summer school αυτών. Τις επόμενες βδομάδες θα σας ενημερώσουμε και για τα υπόλοιπα.

Στο παρόν εγχειρίδιο θα βρείτε συχνά την παρακάτω αναφορά: ** It is important to send an email to your local officer or at

vpsc@elsa-greece before submitting the application form, so that we can send you a letter indicating your ELSA membership.



Πιθανότατα θα σας ζητηθεί να επισυνάψετε ένα letter που αποδεικνύει την ιδιότητα μέλους σας. Ε'ιναι λοιπόν απαραίτητο πρωτού

υποβάλλετε την αίτησή σας να απευθυνθείτε πρώτα σε κάποιον υπεύθυνο στη χώρα σας. Ακόμα προτείνουμε σε όσους κάνουν

για πρώτη φορά αίτηση σε summer school να εξετάσετε την αίτησή σας με κάποιον local officer, προκειμένου να αποφύγετε πιθανά

λάθη.



Μη διστάσετε να επικοινωνήσετε μαζί μας αν χρειάζεστε οποιαδήποτε βοήθεια κατά τη συμπλήρωση της αίτησης.

ΙΙ. Participants' selection

Στα περισσότερα summer school η επιλογή γίνεται με βάση αντικειμενικά κριτήρια, λαμβάνοντας υπόψη την άριστη γνώση της

αγγλικής γλώσσας καθώς και το ακαδημαϊκό τους υπόβαθρο. Σε κάποια summer school τηρείται σειρά προτεραιότητας. Σημαντικό

επίσης για την επιλογή σας είναι το motivation letter.

IΙΙ. The Contract - Conditions

H "Αίτηση" που θα συμπληρώσετε, θεωρείται μια επίσημη σύμβαση και αποτελεί δέσμευση μεταξύ της ELSA και του αιτούντος.

Και τα δύο μέρη θα πρέπει να τηρούν τους όρους του contract και να ενημερώνουν αμέσως σχετικά με τις αλλαγές που γίνουν

μετά τη συμπλήρωση της αίτησης. Συνεπώς, κρίνεται ιδαίτερα σημαντικό να διαβάσετε προσεκτικά τους όρους αλλά και τη

διαδικασία υποβολής των αιτήσεων.
