Today is the seventh week of ELP class with Madam J. What we learn today is to

do mind mapping during listening session.

At first we were to listens the instruction of the listening session examination and

to make our own notes or mind mapping on the details. However I think that I lack the

experience in organizing the points and details into a mind map, but I did a good job in

jotting down all the main points.

Next we were to start our listening session. I find that I was able to catch

everything that was said. Still there are problems for me when it comes to spelling those

words, because some of it I never heard before therefore I was not able to spell it

correctly or even form a 5 sentences answer with my own words.

Madam J suggest us to read more newspaper and magazines, I think that is a

very good idea. I have been reading some online news and also play some English

games too, and that truly help me a lot.

Hopefully I can continue to improve my English and was able to score a band 4

for my MUET exam.
