Game NotesLast Time Out: The Purple and Gold moved back into the win column and back to .500 on the season as the Soar-ing Eagles defeated SUNY Potsdam, 62-47, on December 13th. Four players finished with double-digit points, led by Danielle Cleary ’18, who posted a game- and career-high 22 points.

Cleary’s Scoring: Danielle Cleary ’18 dropped 20-plus points for the second straight game this season against SUNY Potsdam. It was also her sixth consecutive game this year scoring double-figures. Cleary joins a club of only five players since the 2001-02 season who have put together back-to-back 20-plus games and is only the second rookie to do so since Jennifer Parker ’06 did it during the 2002-03 season.

Pochkar’s Double-Double: Against SUNY Potsdam, Karli Pochkar ’16 posted 13 points and 13 rebounds to tally her second straight double-double. This is the first time an EC player has tallied back-to-back double-doubles since the 2012-13 season when Jessica Zoltowksi ’14 did it on back-to-back days at the Key Largo Classic.

Cleary’s Accolades: Danielle Cleary ’18 not only scored a career-high 22 points against SUNY Potsdam, she went 6-for-8 from beyond the arc and made the most three-pointers by an EC player since Becky Peterman ’11 made the same amount in the 2010-11 season. For her efforts, Cleary was named the Empire 8 Rookie of the Week for the third time in five weeks and was named the Corvias ECAC Upstate Rookie of the Week.

Looking Ahead: The Soaring Eagles will only have a couple days of rest before traveling to Ithaca College on January 2nd to compete in the Purple and Gold’s first Empire 8 Confer-ence game of the season.Tip-off is set for 6:00 p.m.
