Also, when a child presents at school unwell, we need to be able to contact either a parent/guardian, or an emergency contact. Please ensure that you have the right contact details/people on file at school. We understand that parents work, however the comfort, safety and health of our children always comes first. Earn & Learn Don’t forget to start collecting the Woolworths ‘Earn and Learn’ stickers. We have a box setup at Woolworths Colac, or you can bring them to school. The more stickers we earn, the more goodies we get! Goodbye and good luck Mrs Theodore! This week is our last with Mrs Theodore for 2017 as she heads off on an overseas adventure with her husband for 12 months! We wish Hollie all the very best for her trip, but know that the school community, in particular 1/2T will miss her terribly! Miss Maddison Thwaites will join the 1/2T team for the remainder of this year and we know she will be welcomed by all. Angela Hall Principal

CORRESPONDENCE OVER THIS WEEK

Parents & Friends Pie Order Forms

PARENTS AND FRIENDS NEWS Wow, the year is flying by. It's only four weeks until our Father's Day Stall. We are seeking donations for the stall and they can be left at the office. The children love to shop at the stall, care-fully choosing something 'all by themselves' for Dad or that special person in their lives. On behalf of Elliminyt Primary's P and F, we

would like to thank you for your ongoing sup-

port of the stalls that make such a special learn-

ing experience for our children. Donations are being accepted now.

When donating it would be much appreciated if

you could donate in lots of 10. As there are 10

grades and we try to offer the same item across each grade. E.g. I donate ten ties, then

there is a tie on the table for each

grade.

Possible donation ideas:- Socks, ties, mugs, key rings, car

cleaning kit (bucket & sponge), BBQ

items (tongs, apron), small screw-

driver set, gardening items. Any of these

could have chocolates added, then there

is homemade cooking, slices,

cakes, truffles, biscuits. Thank you Julie Walters

Woolworths Earn & Learn 2017 Don’t forget to start collecting your Earn & Learn

Stickers from Wednesday 26th July to Tuesday 19th

September. Place the Woolworths Earn & Learn Stick-

er onto a Woolworths Earn & Learn Sticker Sheet and

when it is complete, the Sticker Sheet can be

dropped into the Collection Box here at the school or

at your local Woolworths.

WOOL WANTED The Art Room is seeking donations of thick wool (8ply or thicker).

Thanks, Caroline McCallum

BOOK FAIR– LAST DAY

Our annual Book Fair will be finishing tomorrow.

Thursday 3rd—Students are able to purchase books before and after school.

Thank you, Marg Phillips

BOOKCLUB Book club order forms were sent home last week. Orders can be placed in the box in the office. If you are paying by cheque please make it payable to ‘Scholastic’. If you wish to order books without your child’s knowledge please mark this re-quest very clearly on the order form. You will be personally contacted when the orders arrive so that you can collect the books from the office. Orders for this issue are due back on Wednesday 9th August. Also remember to mention Elliminyt Pri-mary School if you shop at Cowlick Books Colac as they donate 10% of your sale to our account for us to purchase books for the school. Thanks, Marg Phillips

Winter Sports Results Friday 28th July

Elliminyt V Colac Primary Elliminyt’s Football, Netball (A) and

Netball (B) all experienced good wins. Newcombe teams were mixed be-

tween the two schools and Elliminyt were defeated by

Colac Primary in the Soccer. All students had a great day and the

weather was superb for the event. This Friday 4th August, Elliminyt takes on

Sacred Hart at Elliminyt between 11.40am

and 1pm.

LOST PROPERTY

There is an amazing amount of items in

our Lost Property at the moment.

We encourage you to come in and look

through it if your child is missing anything.

After Friday 11th August we will be donat-

ing any items that have not found a home

to a local charity.
