CINE provides the community of Hes-
peler with new theatre and dining ex-
periences. The proposed restaurant
on the first floor will feature original
Mexican food, a cuisine that the people
of Hespeler have yet to experience. A
grandiose bar is the focal point of the
space, which is adjacent to communal
tables, emphasizing the intention of
bringing the community together. The
unconventional theatre space located
in the basement will house multipur-
pose amphitheater style seating that
continues into the adjoining exterior
space. The space is designed to be
welcoming and casual, without having
a set program during off times.

Office Design: Subpac Wall DisplayPanel Layout
The proposed feature wall in the Toronto Subpac office mimics a sound wave by creating movement in a brick façade. The material choice and neutral colour
scheme are cohesive with the design of the rest of the industrial building, so that the feature wall does not take away from the rest of the space. The S2 model will be on
display and have an integrated seat to try the product, and the M2 model will hang at eye level in one of the waves of the wall to easily try it as well. While vibrations in the
Subpacs simulate the various sounds and songs, the wall will serve as a backdrop, personality, and inspiration, giving life to the rest of the office space, and combining
architecture with music.

Light Modulator: WAVE
Project Description Water is both a symbol of life
and peace. WAVE is a hanging light that
mimics this with the shadows and in-
candescent colours it casts reflects to
the floor and wall to create an under-
water ambience and experience. WAVE
is 10” x 22” in size. Created by laser
cutting acrylic, birch wood and bolted
with rivets into place at the Ryerson’s

Orange is associated with meanings
of joy, warmth, enthusiasm, creativity, suc-
cess, encouragement, health, happiness, fun,
balance, freedom, expression, and fascina-
tion. Orange is the color of joy and creativity.
My proposal for the developing area of 450
Dupont Street in downtown Toronto will fea-
ture the wildthink office as an open concept
indoor forest space with a play in transparen-
cy through the use of the orange glass panels
throughout the space. I want the space to pro-
vide a unique spatial experience for its users
as they walk to discover this concrete jungle
enamored in the natural downtown sunlight
through the saw tooth ceiling and large win-
dows.
