Elkton High School staff consists of: 1 Principal, 3 Assistant Principals, 4 Guidance Counselors, 78 Teachers, 6 Paraprofessionals, 1 Special Education Building Coordinator, 1 Athletic Director, 5 Secretaries, 2 General Assistants, 9 Custodians, and 7 Kitchen staff.

Promotion Rates for 2016: 9th grade-96.2%; 10th grade-95.2%; 11th grade-93.2%

- 487 students made the Honor Roll at least one marking period last year.

- Gave 209 AP exams to 141 students last year.

- AP enrollment this year is 245 seats.- Cecil College Dual Enrollment this year: 27

students in Sociology and 27 students in Psychology.

- In 2016, had 7 students that were AP Scholars, 1 student that was an AP Scholar with Honor, and 5 students that were AP Scholars with Distinction.

- In the National Merit Scholarship Program, had one student who was a semi-finalist in 2015, and one student receiving a letter of commendation this year.

- From the class of 2016: 35.1% of our students are attending a four year college, 36.2% are attending a two year college, 9.3% are attending a specialized school, 5.2% have entered the military, and 14.2% have secured employment.

- Received Cleanest Building Award in CCPS last year.

- Earned Silver Recognition status from PBIS- Started an All Sport Athletic Booster

organization this year- School Drama production of "Wizard of

Oz" last year, and will be "Beauty and the Beast" this year.

- Have started a clothing, food, and non-perishable personal item pantry within the school to support those in need in the community.

- Partnered with Restore Church to provide a Drug Awareness Assembly for our entire student body, as well as providing guest speakers for our PBIS zone day events.

- Partnered with Fair Hill Nature Center to provide a service learning project for 9th graders creating a rain garden in Elkton.
