The logo is a unique piece of artwork that has been designed specifically for Elite Lighting, and it must appear in every Elite Lighting communication.

The logo is a key brand asset, and must be respected whenever it is used.

Never, under any circumstances, should the logo artwork be altered or re-created. Only use the approved files when reproducing and applying the logo.

Primary Logo

The primary logo or the primary logo with website tagline are preferred and should be used whenever possible, but if not possible, use the secondary logo.

The full color logo is always preferred for brand communications. Wherever possible the standard color logo should be used, preferably on a white or light background.

Aim to avoid a background of varied colors, and in any case one that does not go with red or yellow.

The grayscale, one-color black, and full-reverse variations should be used when color reproduction is limited.

Clear space: In order to isolate the logo and protect it from visual elements that may alter its appearance, it is suggested that strict guidelines be followed in regards to spacing around the logo. These guidelines are as follows:

The absolute minimum amount of clear space that can surround the logo in any application is equal to the size of the “e” in the “elite” wordmark.

Minimum size – At extremely smaller sizes, the readability of the wordmark becomes compromised. To ensure that the logo is always legible, it should never be reproduced smaller than 0.3’’ in height, as shown in the right.

Background Control

The logo artwork was designed to be used in a range of background requirements, but it is essential that the logo is always highly legible in every application.

The full-color logo features well against white, as well as photographic back-grounds that provide significant contrast.

The grayscale and one-color reverse variations also reproduce well against white.

The reversed out logo should only be used in the event that:• Red or yellow is the only color

available• The logo needs to be placed over

dark colors, including photographs
