age groupsall players are required to attend their age group’s specific tryout. age group definitions are available on our website. Please make sure to double check your age group before you head to the tryout!

high school tournamentVarsity players competing in the ihsa state tournament will not participate in drills or physical evaluation at tryouts; however, you must attend your age group’s tryout to be eligible fovr this club season.

Wildcat Jrs. FAQs

What is the tryout fee for Wildcat Jrs.?There is a $30 fee to tryout for a Wildcat Jrs. team, which must be paid online at time of registration.

What are the club dues?Club dues are still being finalized for the 2014-2015 season. Please contact the office for more information. Dues include practice fees, tournament fees, coaches expenses, and association memberships. Additional costs include travel and uniform expenses.

How are teams selected?All players will be assessed on their volleyball skills, athleticism, and potential for development. Unfortunately, we do make cuts. We want to make sure that our rosters are at no more than 10-11 players and that the teams are competitive. In the case that more than one team is selected per age group, we will not select final teams until we evaluate the players during the first week of practice. We feel that the players deserve a thorough evaluation period to compete for a spot on one of our teams.
